| My captivating Gucci's planned career is to be a therapeutic riding mount - once I finish high school, have gone to college, and am certified as a therapeutic riding instructor. Gucci will at times visit people from nursing homes, homes for mentally and physically challenged, and orphanages. Gucci will probably be in a few small nearby shows. Gucci will allways be my special horse and she will never be sold. Gucci's absolutely most favorite treat is peppermint candies -- she knows she's going to get one when she hears the crinkle of the wrapper before your hand is out of your pocket! (Gucci allways thinks there are going to be treats in pockets though!) Gucci loves to give kisses all the time in hopes of getting a treat for it, though her favorite time to give a kiss seems to be right after she's taken a drink so that she gets you nice and wet!! She loves playing jokes on the other horses (one time she reached through the paddock fence and Janey who had a mouth full of hay and was standing in the next pasture over by the paddock fence went to bite Gucci but instead Gucci grabbed the hay right out of Janey's mouth and pulled her head back through the boards before Janey could bite her!) and she also likes playing jokes on people (once she took a drink and promptly went over to my sister and dribbled the water out on her!). Gucci likes to "stalk" the dogs around the pasture until they decide to leave or else just stare at them which really makes the dogs "scared" as they're used to a horse chasing them, but to be stalked? or stared at? they just don't know what to make of Gucci and her antics! Gucci discovered how to work the latch on her door and let herself out into the paddock with Janey - the 13.2 pony mare who abhors her! A second lock was installed on the most enchanting Royal Queen Gucci's door where she could not reach it to prevent that from happening again! Now she will put her head out over her door and forlornly look at the lower lock which she can't reach and ask the little bay pony, Dev, to undo it. Gucci has decided that not only is she the most gorgeous copper "food vacuum" in existence, but also she is a coppery golden fence dismantler. When in the board paddock she hooks a front hoof over and around the lower boards and pulls in until they finally pull off. When in the electric fence she just pushes through it causing the insulators to pull out all the way down to the corner post. (And creating a lot more work for her servant -i.e. owner!) Gucci was the only of the horses to figure out that though the charger is working, 2 ft. of snow provides too much insulation between the horse and the ground so the horse recieves no shock! Intelligent coppery golden beauty that she is -- I hadn't even known that before! |
